Rated 5 out of 5 by Christopher from Perfect size.. I am a big fan of the preceding Demon Duffel, so interest was piqued when the stone 42 came out. I'm a big fan of the duffel style: a full-length center zip is awesome.. It's all out in the open as soon as you lay the pack down. I usually use it for bouldering- all my shoes and chalk bucket, water, lunch and layers fit with room to spare. For sport cragging, I've easily fit rope, 20 draws, harness and shoes, as well as water and a shell jacket, just right. The tarp inside is nicely attached and a good size, so no need for a rope bag. The length of the pack gives it a really comfortable carry. It's my standard bag nowadays.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Keninco970 from Nice Bought this pack about 3 weeks ago. Overall it's way nicer than the pack I was using before. It's not perfect but it's pretty close. I would like it more with pockets on the outside, a daisy chain instead of the two little loops inside would be a drastic improvement. And a daisy chain outside would be cool also. I honestly think I might have too much stuff. I can get everything inside it when I'm packing before, it's alot harder at the end of the day, I usually carry 6-10 draws, a set of nuts, cowbells, and a full rack of cams. Like I said it...... fits??? A little bigger would be better, but the design it's impossible to beat overall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jacopo from Perfect size and lightweight I really like the size of this bag. I can easily fit all my sport climbing gear in it and it's really comfy to carry (even during long approaches). Thanks to the full length zipper you can access to all your gear really fast. The two handles are very useful as you can easily move the bag around if when it's open. The 2 pockets inside are perfect to stock your small personal items (wallet, phone, car key).

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jezryl from Simple Pack yet Comfy and Useful The Duffel Pack is a great fit for me. It's comfortable, fits a ton of gear, and allows easy access. I was happy to find two side pockets and gear loops inside to help me organize my smaller items. The main thing I look for in a pack is comfort and I've done longer approaches with this pack and it's been perfect for me!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Hayzoos from Great pack. Holds almost 2 people's gear. Picked this bag up a few weeks ago and I love it. The built in rope tarp in super handy all while being able to fit all of my gear. Packed initially I fit 18 draws, 2 pair shoes, 2 harness, chalk and chalk bags, helmet, and a 70 m rope. After flaking the rope and rolling it back into the tarp at the end of the day I had a little more trouble getting everything in. Shoes and helmet wound up getting clipped to the outside loops. Overall a great bag. Comfortable carry, and way more appropriate than the 65 liter bag I was using initially. If your doing mainly sport or solely trad and just need to haul draws/cams, ropes, and shoes for 1-2 it's a good fit. I wouldn't try and hold both sport and trad gear in one bag. Improvements: some loops on the outside of the bag to clip to. And maybe an extra one or two inside the bag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Aaron from Great pack I picked this pack up for carrying my kit to the gym - it fits a gym rope, harness, chalk bag, workout clothes and a couple pair of shoes with no problems. It's comfy, big enough for everything, and splits wide open for quick access when you're finished and in a rush to get a "recovery beer." I like it so much I'll use it for business travel carry-on, too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Ben from Awesome pack wish for more pockets This pack is great. It has replaced my rope bag and is very convenient to move around. Even tho they killed it with making this pack simple which keeps it light and inexpensive I wish for a couple more pockets. Like the new Patagonia crag daddy pack, just a couple on outside and one or two inside (there is one inside).

Rated 5 out of 5 by B rad from Great all around pack! I bought this to use at the gym but it is versatile and large enough for the crag too. It easily fits my rope, harness, two pairs of shoes, and chalk bag with tons of room to spare. The bag has two side pockets one side I use to store extra chalk, brushes, tape and the other for my cell and keys. Love the duffel or backpack carrying options! Solid pack.
