Rated 3 out of 5 by JungleIsMassive from Bad button design, not very durable Super bright LED, great flashlight except the touch-sensitive buttons aren't as reliable as trusty old push buttons. Gloved hands don't work and even bare hands have problems sometimes. Dimmer sometimes gets stuck so it's constantly changing brightness. Doesn't provide much backup power to charge a device but good as a last resort. Turns off or flickers if it gets knocked around when in use. Screw bevel around lens loosens - I'd suggest Loctite or superglue. Loop for carabiner is useful. A head or wrist strap of some sort would be killer. If a version 2 of this comes out with updates (button improvement, higher mA/h, more durable), I'm all over it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Owen from short on ease of use The Ember is close to being super rad. My thoughts: - it's a bit heavy. Though... it is a battery pack. Not sure the fancy aluminum twisty thing contributes to that much, or that it's necessary either. + it's a GREAT idea. I'm wading into the strategy of using my iPhone + Gaia more, so having more battery is cool. - i hate capacitive buttons (this is the main reason for 3 stars...). And it really doesn't make sense for something that you're supposed to be able to FEEL out in the dark. + good size! + love the lock mode + nice 'biner loop

Rated 3 out of 5 by Sevphotography from Durability issues functions well more to be desird Had this light for a while it is bright saved me on a few later then expected arrival to car and cabins. I was super pumped on it when it lived in my camera bag, charged my GoPro with it. The size is perfect and the loop is something I can't live with out. After a year the twist function was stiff and now not working, only the light works and can sketch charge it. The second version which you should make should not have the twist, cool not effective!! Simple function buttons that are easy to use with a glove. Have some sort of water resistance I live in BC it rain like heck and snows like crazy. As well larger charge capacity and a silicon or rubber protective cover so it can take more abuse when clipped to an belt loop or bag. Going to try and fix mine till the next one I would pay 10 to 15$ for those features.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Krystn from So happy with this product! I searched multiple versions of a battery extender for my iPhone 6. This product had great reviews and a great price. I was thrilled when I received it how quickly the order was processed, how user friendly it was and how well it worked. It easily charged my phone again to full battery. I have used it while out and about in town, as well as while camping as an emergency power supply. The flashlight is a great feature and I love how it dims. I haven't had a single issue with this product and would recommend this to anyone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Julien from Mostly pretty good! I want to start by saying I completely agree with everything Owen said below. Cons: A little heavy, dont love the touch sensitive buttons, I also think that the outer shell feels kind of flimsy in relation to the inner body. it sort of rattles and makes it feel like its going to break. Otherwise I love it! It keeps my whatever charged a lot longer, and the settings work well. I think a small redesign could easily make it a must have. Bonus Idea! BD, you should make a regular size Moji thats rechargable.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Harry from Not impressed Had it for a week took it on the river it got wet and now it's trash. You figure from a outdoor stand point this flashlight would be somewhat waterproof or resistant specially spending 50 bucks on it. If you clam outdoors make it last for the outdoors

Rated 4 out of 5 by Kyle from Mostly great, couple little things Like this a lot overall. Seems durable, the light (which I almost never use) is bright and decently focused, the twist feature is clever. The two things I don't like as much are I wish it came with a longer cord (luckily I had one), and the "button" to turn the flashlight on and off is waaaay too sensitive. The slightest brush against any exposed skin or clothing and the light is turning on and off. I think a real button would be better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Outside Pilot from Great idea, almost perfect Love this light/battery charger combo, I've had it for about 2 years now and it is still holding up well for the most part with weekly use. Will fully charge my iPhone 7 with plenty of power left over. The pluses other reviews have covered and I agree. I'll cover my few nits/ideas for future improvement. - the on/off/dimmer can be a tad sensitive - the beam isn't adjustable (see below) - lately it seems to turn off on its own at times in flashlight mode Perhaps a slightly more rugged model with either greater capacity/lumens or beam control would be awesome. I'm an airline pilot so during my exterior inspections at night a little more reach on the flashlight beam would be great. Especially as I move on to my next (bigger) jet. I'll probably have to go away from this light if there isn't a different one offered down the road for that purpose. Otherwise for general travel and backcountry recharges this thing is near perfection. Keep up the good work BD!
