Rated 3 von 5 von aus I LIKE these poles... Very light, easy to use (duh, fixed length), but there's a couple points to consider: + Weight! feathery and "reasonable cost" (see helio pole for perspective) - FRAGILE! I broke a pole while teaching an avy class... not good BD. - Baskets are useless in lighter snow conditions. This is a good problem to have off course, but it'd be nice if they came with the bigger baskets

Rated 5 von 5 von aus Great ligt poles. These are nice super light touring poles with that foam you use to grip the pole lower on the uphill side rather than adjusting their length. They are plenty strong for touring but i have broken a pair dumping them into the helicopter basket with everyone else’s skis. You should be more gentle with them than you would with your beefier and much aluminum sticks. With care they last just fine. Also, if they don’t come with them order the large powder baskets. That’s what you bought them for isn’t it?

Rated 5 von 5 von aus So far so good Only skied with these 7 times or so this past month, so I can not comment on durabilty (of which I am expecting very little), but man o man are they light! Love 'em! Nice ergonomic grips too. I was a little skeptical as I have skied with adjustable height poles for the last 15 years, and I was concerned I might miss the adjutability. So far no problems though, I just sized them a little long and that way I can just choke up on the grip when I want them a bit shorter. Plus, seems like everyone who is anyone is skiing with those Euro-baton-style poles so it must not be much of an issue!

Rated 3 von 5 von aus Good but fragile After 2 days of skiing I thought the poles were greatly. Then after I pushed it too far and took a lite fall landing on the poles it caused them to snap. I though they would withstand a bit more abuse then what I put them through for the money

Rated 5 von 5 von aus Swing weight...what's that? As an inveterate consumer of cheap aluminum poles I reluctantly broke down and threw a wad of cash at these carbon wands after snapping an aluminium pole plunged in rime ice high on Mt. Hood last spring. These poles might snap under the same circumstances but I plan not to find out. The baskets are easy to swap and make these great for off piste and on, hardpack and fluff. I've skied 5 on piste and 7 off with these this season and am happy as a pig in you know what.

Rated 5 von 5 von aus Super Light As an ACMG ski guide, I ski intensely all winter long. These poles have reduced my forearm tendonitis/repetitive use issues dramatically. They are so light, they almost float!! Thanks!

Rated 3 von 5 von aus Amazing - but fragile - poles These poles are really amazing. SO light and fun to ski. Unfortunately, I am pretty tough on they are not a good fit for me. I got ~20 days on them before breaking one (just skiing...nicked it with a ski at the end of a turn). I bought a replacement pair and broke 2 poles in 2 days - one of which was a huge wreck and I likely would have broken any pole. Sadly, I've had to move on to lower performance but more durable poles

Rated 1 von 5 von aus Paper fragile These poles are super, super light, but unfortunately they are not durable. On my third day out with these I hit the side of the pole relatively gently with a ski edge, and it snapped immediately. this made for a relatively unpleasant remainder of the day
