Mission LT Approach Shoes - Men's wurde bewertet mit von 5 von 22.
Rated 5 von 5 von LSP1 aus Great So Far I purchased these recently, and have taken them out 5 or so times, so I can't speak to their durability. However, I'm very pleased with how they're performing so far. Shoes fit true to size. They're comfortable and easy to put on. Break-in period was about 3 miles of hiking. The elastic material around the ankles allows easy slip-on, keeps them somewhat tight without lacing (nice for alternating between climbing and belaying), and does a great job keeping rocks out. The rubber is plenty sticky for technical approaches, and traction is much better on snow/ice than my sticky dot soles. Lastly, these shoes are very lightweight and well-ventilated.
Rated 2 von 5 von Makemonkeysgreatagain aus Sticky n comfy but durability is questionable Very comfortable shoe! Very sticky rubber! Durability could be improved. I wore these strictly on two big walls in Yosemite as an aid climbing shoe . Unfortunately both outside fabric edges have started to wear a hole after about 22 pitches of aid. (Shown in pic) However, they perform well when switching from ladders to free moves do to the super sticky rubber. I wear a 42 climbing shoe and went with size 10 and thought it was a good fit for a sock like approach shoe. Just bummed about the hole after relatively little use. would recommend as an approach shoe but not a wall shoe.
Rated 5 von 5 von TNew250 aus First Look, Exceptional I have only had these a very short time but when I first put them on, they felt like cozy slippers. The sock construction is very comfortable, the classic approach shoe look is a welcome feature as a lot of other shoe companies stray away. They fit true to size and they also include an extra set of laces, which is nice because shoes typically outlive a set of laces. Overall I would say that these are a winning addition to the BD lineup.
Rated 5 von 5 von tandaylor aus Great shoe, true to size. You can climb in these shoes but they're obviously not going to have the performance of a traditional climbing shoe. However, you can walk comfortably for miles. The sole seems stiff enough to handle terrain without giving you blisters from over flexing but I have not gone more than a three miles in rocky terrian yet. I wear a size 13 and from the reviews I was nervous about buying this size, many reviews said to buy a size bigger. I found that the size 13 fit me great. Great overall light hiking shoe for hikes that will have some techical sections which makes them great for via ferratas.
Rated 4 von 5 von Brad aus Sock Style with fabric upper. I bought this shoe not knowing it had a sock style closure. It took me a while to get used to it. If you have a shoe horn it is great, otherwise the back pull tab could be a little bigger and beefier to accommodate pulling it on. Super comfortable shoe, good sticky rubber. Fabric is great for breathing, but not a great shoe for desert approaches as the smallest cactus spines penetrate.
Rated 5 von 5 von Taylor 88 aus Sweet spot This shoe hits that sweet spot of being stiff for edging and yet soft for feeling what is beneath your feet. It's also the only shoe with a sock fit that works with a super high instep. It's like someone was listening to all my favorite features on all my other approach shoes and put it on this model. Don't take my word for it go try them for yourself!
Rated 5 von 5 von Mark aus Light, firm sole and supportive This shoe has the desired attributes of a good trail shoe. The sole is comfortable enough for everyday use but firm enough to avoid over flexing on uneven or rocky terrain. It feels very supportive around the ankles as well. I also like the wraparound rubber toe feature as it really does stick well when stepping into a crack. I also tried the Technician Approach, but preferred the arched sole on the Mission LT. The entrance is tighter with the sock style feature, but you get used to that quickly and it's just that much less area for small rocks and debris to get in. The breathable upper may not be everyone's choice, but I like it for warm hikes and even water. Waterproof upper's aren't so great if water ends up coming in over the top as then the lining just holds the water in the shoe. At least the breathable material will allow the shoe to eventually dry out if you are traveling through occasional water crossings. I also wanted to mention that the size ran a little small for me. I wear a 10 in other popular brands of hiking shoes, but had to get a 10.5 in this shoe as the 10 was way too tight.
Rated 4 von 5 von sowr aus Great Fit - Lightweight and Sticky I originally bought these for use when approaching local crags after a longish hike and needed something comfortable to walk in, plus confidence inspiring when scrambling up to the base. They worked very well for this purpose. The fit extremely well, and feel very lightweight. They are also sticky enough for scrambling around the rocks. I used them perhaps beyond their intended purpose when I did a three-day Sierra trip to climb a Class 3 route, they held up very well and I didn't have any hot spots even though I was hiking with a three-day backpack. My only complaint was that my toes tended to drive into the front of the shoe, but this should be expected for a low top and it wasn't really bad. Great shoe! I'd love to see a high-top GTX version of it.
