Featuring the latest progression of our innovative JetForce Technology, the new JetForce Pro avalanche airbag with PIEPS technology is lighter, smaller and now features Bluetooth capabilities. Our revolutionary JetForce Technology is still rechargeable and travel-friendly, and features multiple deployments, with automatic deflation to create an air pocket, and has an automated self-diagnosis, but now the updated, lower-profile system is positioned lower, which improves the way the pack carries. With the addition of Bluetooth connectivity, you can update the software directly through the PIEPS app on your smartphone, as well as personalize settings. The 35-liter pack features a dedicated avy-tool pocket and plenty of storage for extra layers, water and additional gear, plus the pack is modular, giving you the option of purchasing a 10-liter, 25-liter, and 25-liter splitboard booster pack, which you can attach to the JetForce system for more versatility. The pack’s ice-tool attachment secures your essential gear, while the tuck-away ski attachment system allows the airbag to deploy when skis are attached. The deploy trigger features status lights and can be switched to either the left or right shoulder strap and you can adjust the height for personal preference. The hip belt also features a redesigned leg-loop strap, which is now retractable and features a carabiner clip for quick attachment to the hip belt.

JetForce Pro Avalanche Airbag Pack 35L is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Next Generation is Here The new JetForce Pro has everything in a pack that it's predecessors did not, while maybe the Saga 40 is the only pack in it's class that can relate, the Pro 35L trumps that in both weight, and features. The price point is understandably expensive as the general notion is that avy bags cause skiers to take more risks, less airbags = less risk in the backcountry (is this term still trademarked?!). The 35L has more than enough space for long day tours, and has some extremely well though out features, i.e; the snow tool pouch cannot be fully zipped shut, instead there is a piece of fabric in the way, for the intention of being easily ripped open. The JetForce Pro has moves the battery charger to the shoulder, which had me quite stumped for sometime as I was rustling around by the battery pack looking for the charging port like it's predecessors. The jetforce blows away every pack on the market in my opinion - I'll never go back to compressed air again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light and I replaced another battery airbag that I owned and like this one MUCH better. It is ridiculously lighter than my other one. Bought the 35L pack and the 25L booster. The 25 is perfect for long days. The 35L is perfect for guiding or longer trips. I'd even get the 10L for dawn patrols. The features are well thought out from the hideaway helmet carrier and stow away ski carry straps to battery and light indicator on the deploy trigger - and much more! Dedicated shovel and probe pocket is perfect. The battery lasts a long time before needing charging. Only (very small) "complaints" would be lack of removing battery and there's a gap on one side for the airbag that has a clip that often comes undone. Not a major issue and in no way a safety one.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Waiting for Larger Splitboard Jet Force I'm excited to see Black Diamond progressing the industry with such a great airbag pack. I'm hoping to see a larger (35L+) splitboard specific pack for the growing splitboard guide population. Specifically size small for people with short frames like myself. Im waiting with anticipation!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super stable pack and carries the load well Finally pulled the trigger on an avy bag and really liked the idea of having the zero cost deployment practice and no worries airline travel. I like being able to switch between the different sizes of pack, but it takes some practice to figure out how not to explode all your gear out at each transition. Snow tool pocket is really easy to manage but can be hard to get into if you have your helmet on the pack. I have the 25L booster as well which is easy to switch out. But it is either a bunch of extra space with the 35L or not quite enough with the 25L. I few more pictures on the website of the internals of the pack would be nice to better understand what I was ordering in the 1st place

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A good bag, but missing a few features This is a great bag filled with technology that really reduce some of our risk when traveling on snow. I don't have any suggestions for making the tech side of it any better other than the wishful thinking on making it even lighter (although it's way better than the previous version). I do however wish that there was a key clip in the top compartment of pack. It would be great to have the ability to clip keys so you didn't have to fish for them or just throw them in the main compartment. The only only suggestion I have is a gear loop on the left side hip pad. It would be great to be able to clip gloves, etc. during transitions, etc. Not a huge thing but it would be a nice addition to this great bag.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lighter than JetForce 1, better technology This pack is in many ways a major improvement on the previous version JetForce in all the ways the airbag is stored, operated and deployed. I love the more intelligent battery, and that it will turn off if you forget to power down, something that happened a lot in the first model. I also really notice the weight savings of close to 2 pounds. I like the tool pocket a lot more, it seems easier to use and the corner type zipper functions better than previous models. There are a few things that are not perfect, and maybe better in the first model. This pack is smaller, and therefore if you want to carry a puffy, hardshell, extra gloves, water, food, goggles, and your 1st-Aid/repair kit (this is all fairly essential BC outing equipment I consider necessary even on a light tour) its a lot to fit in the smaller space and I feel it bulges the pack a little. The drawback is that I have had to re-zip the airbag compartment a few times while touring because it tends to pull apart. Also, the zip access that doubles as the plug-and-play modular pack system tends to want to completely separate from the JetForce every time I need something deeper in my pack. And lastly, the ski carry system for boot-packing is a little more awkward with a fuller pack, but it was also awkward on the first generation so I'm not sure its a downgrade.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from One missing flaw This pack would be perfect if there was a vertical snowboard carry option or bigger sizes for the splitboard carry attachment. Would be rather easy to include durable and tight loops on the side to attach snowboard carry straps as an accessory. Many snowboarders like myself like to hike without the funds to buy splitboard equipment and would rather dish the dough for safety equipment instead. BD please include snowboard carry options!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Pack with small improvement needed I am really happy on this pack is big enough for al my staff also for a long we climbing around 4000mt in the Alps. In any case I would like to provide some suggestion to improve it. I think that another axe holder is needed (i did), an internal small pocket with zip for keys wallet mobile etc, an rope holder. with this three improvement it would be more then excellent as is now :-)
