Rated 5 out of 5 by Nick from Solid, high quality gloves. These have been terrific. A good balance of warmth, durability and dexterity. Really nice to pull them on to seal out the weather and they can take a beating. But when juggling crystal cards, loupes and thermometers in a snow pit and trying to write it all down with a plastic pencil, I can still get it all done with these gloves on. Pretty nice for a burly glove. I wear BD Medium gloves and these fit true to size. Out of the package they feel really snug. I had my doubts. It took 4 or 5 days of wearing to make them feel right. Now they're a standard part of my touring kit.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Butte America from Cold, Bad Cuff but comfortable on warm days This is definitely not a -5 to 25 degree glove. It is a warm weather glove for above 25 degrees. Anything below 25 degrees I better be breaking a sweat to keep my hands warm in them. The cuff is too stiff so it gaps when the draw string is pulled and lets snow in. They are very comfortable and seem to be well made as they are holding up and the stitching is staying together. After wearing BD gloves for years I was a bit reluctant to buy another pair as the stitching in my Legends came out in just a week and they packed out very quickly so they were warm at first and then got cold with only a couple weeks of wear. Hopefully my Legends were just a fluke with the stitching as these Crews seem well made but I am disappointed in the warmth BD is rating their gloves at these days. In my opinion, my last two pair of BD gloves haven't lived up to the excellency of the brand.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jake from Does well for a big glove I used these at an ice climbing festival instructing in -30F weather, and these did well. For being rated at -5F, my fingers were only moderately cold and if I pulled my fingers into a fist I was fine. Very well made. I have two small reserves with the glove: the sizing is off, I measured for a medium and went with a large, definitely the right choice. BD needs to figure out their sizing... My other hitch is that I had a little trouble working carabiners and manipulating rope because they are so thick, but overall this was not a big problem. Very happy with this purchase.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Conor from I am extremely disapointed with my purchase I am a ski patroller in Western Colorado, and I bought these gloves in early December as my work gloves. I have been in weather ranging from 0 to 30 degrees F (within the recomended temp rating) , and they have only kept me warm on the warmer days. As soon as the gloves are introduced to snow, my fingers start to go numb. I normally trust the brand, so I expected a lot more from high end BD gloves.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Hawk from too small I bought these a few weeks ago and, based on the other reviews, got a size larger than the co sizing chart recommends. They are still too small. Specifically, the problem is the diameter of the fingers -- they are really tight, to the point of limiting my circulation. The result is that my fingers get much colder, faster than with gloves of substantially less quality. And I don't have particularly fat fingers. I think it is a major design flaw.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Thom from Gloves are warm These are great gloves, but they do run small. The wrist elastic was tight the first time I put them on, but did stretch so they now go on easily.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Biko from Perfect Ski Glove for Cool Weather I bought these gloves for cool skiing weather (20 - 30 degrees F), and I'm very happy with them. When the temps dip into the teens or winds & no sun cause the wind chill to dip, I switch to mitts, and when the temps hit 5 degrees and below, I put on my Black Diamond heated Solano gloves to stay nice and comfy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by stephen from Great but not perfect At least one size too small. Need an XXL. Elastic at wrist is too close to palm, needs to be closer to wrist. Stitching on leather is uneven. Leather seems tough enough.
