Fixed Length Carbon Ski Poles - Past Season is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 17.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Poles I will get to the point, excellent poles, great swing rate, I like how the grip feels solid and your hand doesn’t slide and how easy it is to strap on. Love the colors, “icing on the cake” and just plain feel right. Can’t wait to put on the powder basket (have freeride baskets on now, which have been great) for some deep stuff!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Mostly good I’ve used them daily for a month now. Pros- light weight, nice swing, grippy upper shaft is pretty grippy. No need for hockey tape. Cons- There’s a metal ring at the base of the grippy upper shaft that came loose on day one. That ring is useful as a hand stop when you’re booting steeper terrain or traversing, but I’ve had to tape mine in place. Annoying for a brand new, expensive ski pole. Aside from the one con, they’re quite nice

Rated 5 out of 5 by from my favorite poles I now have two sets of these poles and all of my previous poles are sidelined! In my opinion this product offers several fab features: Great ergo grips. Comfortable, easy to use straps. Lightness. Quick-change spin off/on baskets. Kevlar protection on lower section of the shaft which keeps edge cut damage to a minimum. The newer pair also have a tacky (like NOT cheezy) grip section just below the grip handles. Great product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Strong and durable Loved this pole so far. Wanted a lighter/stronger pole that could be used for snow tests. The loop attachment for the poles doesn't stay in but still holds. Lastly, I changed out baskets for bigger powder baskets which work great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great simple pole, perfect for ECT's, and stupid durable I've used this pole as 20 yr professional ski guide internationally for a long time...until last week. Best features- smooth shaft, so I pop off the basket and use to probe for weaknesses in the top metre constantly, (like I've got a nervous twitch#. It's perfect for ECT's as a second probe after pulling the basket because there are no clamps on the shaft to hank up the cord. Sure they don't adjust but after having adjustable poles for the 1st decade that I never changed the length of, I thought it might be ok. I finally snapped the end off in Verbier last week descending a bounder field with lots of fresh snow and no base - broke maybe 30 cms from tip. Never even knew it happened until I stopped. Then I started figuring out when I bought these things and realized it was 2006...ten yrs ago! Considering I do back to back seasons, that's awesome. The life of these will depend on how much of a hack you are with your ski edge into the poles. Obviously the more you hit them, or the harder, #or both) the less life they will have.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from nice poles although I did break a pair i bought these as my second pair after having had a skier cut in front of me (in bounds) and snap off the tip of my other BD fixed length carbon poles. Other than that incident, these are light, nice feeling, overall great ski poles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice lightweight ski poles I have been using these poles on Ski Patrol regularly and they are light, strong and have comfortable grips. The straps are a bit stiff and hard to adjust but otherwise very nice pole.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Valentine Present My wife used thes last week at Tahoe. They are light, stiff and well balanced. The baskets do not seem to hold wet Sierra cement snow as much as other baskets. She likes them!
