Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this jacket. I bought this jacket two weeks ago to replace a lost jacket from another brand. I loved that jacket and thought this might be an affordable replacement, especially before my trip to Norway. I have now realized my old jacket was nothing compared to this one! I love the length of the sleeves, I love the size of the hood and the way you can cinch it down to stay on in the wind, I love how wind proof the jacket is, and I love that it works well on top of a fjord but also looks good walking through town. I’m 5’7” and 115 lbs, and the xs fits very well, with long enough sleeves and just enough room in the chest. It might seem tight around the shoulders if you actually have arm muscles, unlike me. I highly recommend this jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My go to winter jacket Finally a down jacket that doesn't make me look and feel like a marshmellow! This jacket is my go to winter jacket, it's super warm and the fact that it isn't huge makes it really good for all my winter uses whether it's my insulating layer when skiing, an emergency layer in my pack or just commuting to work. The fit is really good and the colour is much better than the pictures suggest, I have the orange jacket and it's a really nice burnt orange and isn't shiny (the pictures make it look it is). I've used the jacket so far in conditions down to minus 12 and it's really held up, most of the time I use it I only require one thermal layer underneath. The only problem is it's my work jacket... so I may need to invest in another..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty much perfect I needed a hooded puffy and this one is great. I wear a medium in basically everything and the medium in this fits just fine. The body itself is a little roomier than expected but that’s fine with me so I can layer underneath easier. Mostly wear this skiing and in daily life. i can move my arms up and around and the jacket stays down and in place instead of riding up. Nice pockets too. And the elastic around the wrist was an unexpected cool feature.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just ok This is a nice looking coat but the armpits are too tight. Fits everywhere else just not the pits. Also the coat doesn't lay flat in the front it's like the zipper wasn't sewn in correctly, there is a weird buckle in the zipper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Through the Wringer I'm assuming this is the equivalent of the hot forge from a couple of seasons ago... If so, this is the best jacket I've ever owned. I've put it through the wringer- ski touring, winter camping, mountain biking, backpacking, you name it. Warm when you need warmth but breathable enough that you can keep sweating and working hard in cold conditions without getting drenched. Lightweight and packable. The fit is great too, not boxy or high cut.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Backcountry Skiing Jacket I got this jacket for Christmas and tested it out today. The jacket is a great puffy layer for backcountry skiing. It packs down relatively small, is warm and stops wind. It has great pockets, including glove/skin pockets, that are insulated to keep hands and/or phone warm. This will definitely be a go to layer. Not to mention the color is beautiful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for 40 degree mountain weather I am 5'4" and 120 pounds and got size small. The fit is great - fits perfectly and gives me room in the arms (I saw previous reviews noted that they were around my size and got the XS which fit them except for the arm region). I wouldn't say this is a winter jacket by any means, but I'm not sure it claims to be. Either way, I would wear this for around 40-50 degree weather. Great if you live in the mountains. The photo makes the black jacket look shiny, but in reality, it's very matte. Overall, would recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this jacket I almost literally have worn this jacket for three weeks straight (I finally threw it in the wash - there was half a day I was out of it). It has a really nice close fit. I ended up climbing in it the whole week I was in Barstow, and it worked great. The material is pretty dang tough, and the closer fit worked well with wearing my harness over it. I've been bouldering in it this past week, and it's held up really well. Now, it is not a belay puffy. It's warm, but not really meant to stand around in really cold weather (at least not for me). I've been pairing it with the Liquid Point shell, and I completely love the combination. It adds some warmth by blocking all wind and rain/snow without adding any bulk- it's become my go to for personal and search and rescue adventures.
