Rated 2 out of 5 by JULIE from Boot access zipper? I almost love these pants. Its difficult for me to not think that I got a defective pair -- because I do not understand why BD would design the boot access zipper to not extend all the way down the pant, or at least be stretchy enough that I can get the pants over my BD touring boots. Am I missing something? Perhaps putting a snap in the gaiter would help -- I am going to contact BD to see if there is anything I can do. Also, I did not find a beacon tie in the pant pocket -- again, am I missing something? Other than these points, I love the pants and the stretchiness in the body of the pant. Help!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Suzy from Stretch, warmth, and durability. I'm 5'10" and 140lbs - I have a size small which fits great, I like my touring stuff tight fitting. Overall, my favorite touring pants to date. These are the yoga pants of backcountry ski-touring, I practically live in these during the winter and can't wait to put them on again! The material is super comfy with just the right amount of warmth. I live and ski in Utah where it's sunny most of the year, so the light material is great for blue-bird days. Pockets are easy to access, loved the suspender feature for powdays. Ladies - these are the answer!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Kandi from Need some redesign I almost love these pants! Almost! The fit is incredible and they are great to tour in but I have the same issue someone else mentioned- the boot zipper. Why on earth would the zipper not go all the way down in order to allow better boot access. I get that the zipper opening allows me to get to my buckles, but it's not very practical. I wish these pants were just more practical in that sense.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Lindsey from Great pants that need some minor design tweaks I bought these pants for spring volcano touring. They excel at that so far, with the major issue that the gaiter cuffs are too tight. They barely fit around my AT boots, so it is challenging to adjust my boots with the pants on (also -- the boot access zips are a joke). But my major gripe is that the gaiter constriction restricts my boots' full range of motion when skinning, so I have to roll / bunch them up over the boots. They are fine when skiing down, bootpacking, cramponing, etc. Also, any pant that is designed and sold as a ski touring pant should have a beacon pocket. This can be as simple as an internal pocket with a plastic key clip sewn inside. I was so disappointed that there was not a key clip inside the pocket as advertised (looks like that feature has been since removed from your website). Things I like: The fit (I'm usually either an L or XL, and the XL that I purchased are roomy and comfortable) and the fabric. Things I'd like to see improved: More ventilation, brighter colors, larger gaiter, beacon pocket.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Rebecca from Weird Sizing This pant runs quite small and has a long inseam. I'm usually and XS in BD clothing (especially with a 'Regular fit'), and I was quite disappointed to find that I wouldn't be able to wear more than a thin layer under these pants. I'm 5'3'' and 125 lbs, usually wear a euro sz 26.
