Rated 5 out of 5 by jp from extremely dexterous, warm weather gloves I have owned several pair of these. They are not very warm for ice climbing gloves and I find I can only wear them by themselves when it is above freezing. However, they are steller for dexterity and grip. They excel in watersports, canyoning caving, and summer mountaineering (and spring ice). In cold weather I find I can keep a pair of these under other handwear and never have to expose bare skin. Like climbing shoes, they stretch. Unfortunately "seamless" gloves don't last, it's a trade-off for the dexterity. Bring a different pair for rapping and belay to extend their lifespan.

Rated 5 out of 5 by J R K from Update after three years Bought these for rope work and rescue as I have poor circulation. Have become our goto gloves for any cold weather climbing or rope work, skiing, and winter hiking. Usually live on my harness or pack waistbelt. Great grip on rock, ice, rope and tools. I can tie 6mm cord or flat webbing in these easily. Very comfortable and warm for their dexterity. Last quite well unless left behind at river crossings.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tim01 from This much grip might be cheating :) Love these gloves. The grip is fantastic, they give reasonable protection and while they are not "warm" my hands do not get terribly cold in them. Just know that you'll be swapping gloves at belays, etc. for a warmer glove. Dexterity is just what I expected from this glove... handling ice screws, carabiners and even untying knots was easy. Excellent! Be aware that rappelling in this glove will shred them quickly. One rap at Ouray and they had significant wear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Matt Helliker from great grip! I find my Torque gloves gives fantastic grip, even on axes when the handle is rimed up or damp, the level of warmth is also surprisingly good for the thickness of the glove. the fit is nice and sung and really is the "Battle glove" for when the going gets rough and tough!

Rated 5 out of 5 by ilana from Great, but please make a women's version These are incredibly dexterous. I use them solely for dry tooling and mixed climbing in moderate temperatures. I size these one size down from other BD gloves. My hand circumference is 7.5" and I fit these in a XS for a better grip around my tool. My one gripe is that there is some extra width in the glove, presumably because I have female hands and these are male specific gloves. BD, please make a women's version without sacrificing the functionality

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mary from Warm enough, really dextrous Reviewed by J R: I have used these a couple of times. Took them to ice climbing practice at 20F, had lots of standing around. Put on shell mittens occaisionally but stayed warm and functional belaying and climbing. I get cold easily (poor circulation). Can easily tie knots, thread gear, and hang on to tools and most ice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Joshua from One of my favorite lightweight gloves I use these for spring ski touring and alpine climbing. They have great dexterity and are much more wind-proof and soak up less water than BD's climbing gloves (which are great in their own right for dry weather rope handling)
