Rated 3 out of 5 by carbon_splinters from So close, but turn your hands yellow I've been through 4 or five pairs of these (I guide so I chew through belay gloves). They stretch and break in well, and I want to love them, but there are chunky seams in the ends of the fingers that never really stop being annoying. More than anything black diamond dies their "natural" gloves with yellow dye that leaches into your hands when they get wet, turning your hands dark yellow and making it hard to get out. I don't understand why you need to dye a "natural" glove.

Rated 4 out of 5 by J Nelson from They work! If you are considering buying these gloves, I would suggest sizing up. I measured and remeasured my hand because the sizing chart said I was a medium (maybe I scored a pair of gloves that were just cut wrong)? I have only ever been a size large in all the gloves I have ever owned via Black Diamond. But... seeing as the size chart said I was a medium... I went with it. The mediums were the wrong size... too small. I’ve only used them twice since purchasing them. They are a little too tight between the thumb and forefinger and a pinch too narrow (my hands are pretty normal as far as I can tell). For my second session this Spring, we got caught in some pretty heavy rain. The gloves got soaked (as expected as they are not designed to keep your hands dry when it rains). When we got home, I took them out to let them dry. They have since stretched and have been officially broken in. They still feel tight... but totally bearable. Side note... be prepared to have super yellow hands for a good day or two if you get caught in the rain on your next visit to the crag. The dye in these gloves loves to run. Still a solid glove. Just be mindful of the size you purchase. Would also like to share that the reinforced design across the palm to side of hand is why I bought these gloves. Expect them to out perform the closest competitors product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Cory from Nice gloves, but sizing wrong I followed the manufacturer's recommendations for measuring my hands and I couldn't even get the gloves on when they arrived. They were far too small. You may need to consider ordering one size larger. I ordered an extra small, which seemed unusual as I am always a small. But I was clearly an extra small as per the measurement guidelines which don't seem to be correct. The gloves sure did look nice but I cannot provide a proper review as I was unable to wear them

Rated 2 out of 5 by Burls76 from sizing is weird on these measured my hands according to the fit guide and ordered smalls. They were way too tight and i had to return them $12 additional out of pocket. Waited 3 weeks for the refund then had to wait again for them to be back in stock. ordered mediums and the fingers are way too long but not worth another $12 to send them back. probably a good glove if they fit you.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Cameron from Hard to beat for the price Found these to be a bit tight when I first put them on, however the sizing seems accurate. You have to expect leather gloves to be a bit tight until the leather loosens up a bit, so I'm not complaining. I've used these driving, chopping wood and they will be a go-to rope glove. For the price, you can't beat them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SledTed from Great quality I went a size smaller than recommended because I like my gloves to fit tight. They are stretching out nicely but when I order my next pair I will go with the chart. I wear them as winter gloves when the weather is mild and too warm for my Black Diamond Arc gloves. I expect these gloves to last for years because I use them for shoveling snow and scraping ice off my windshield. I don't use them for climbing but they do fit well, they have high quality stitching, and the cuff stays closed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Lazywhiteninja from I want to like these I bought two sizes of these gloves hoping that one of them would fit. Unfortunately neither one do. One of them the fingers are too tight but the right length, the other one the fingers fit well but are too long. I have large hands and they just don't work for me. They're made very well and seem like great gloves but the fit does not work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dabu from Solid work glove After going through a couple pairs of these I'm back to buy another. My fingers generally stay warm so I use these backcountry skiing a lot, down to about 15-degrees F. These are also my go-to for running a saw for firewood, riding my mountain bike or dirt bike, and cool-weather hiking with poles. All gloves fall apart with heavy use but these hold up better than cheap hardware store gloves and provide the protection I need.
