Rated 5 de 5 de par Great product! I bought this a month ago and so far have used it for show shoeing trips and a week of resort skiing with 2 layers underneath. Good wind and snow resistance although I haven't used it in rainy conditions yet. The fit is large. I ordered the medium. I am a medium size in almost everything I buy but this jacket is on the large side even with a couple of layers. I am 5"11" and 175lb and I would consider a small if I was buying it again although I'm very happy with what I've got. I had trouble finding this jacket in stores in Calgary to be able to try one on and I bought it online. Overall very impressed and would definitely buy again!

Rated 5 de 5 de par I say, Buy it! I bought this jacket a month ago because my old shell finally gave up. I wore it for a weeklong professional climbing instructor class in the rainy southeast. It rained for 5/5 days. The jacket performed perfectly. It's D.R.Y., comfortable and it fits great over base layers, a harness, and gear. It packs away nicely, too. Pit Zips are a little stubborn. I would like to have a breast pocket on the inside. Big front pockets, perfect for your hands. Holds my cell in there without spilling it out. Hood works really well with a brain bucket. For the price, this jacket is impossible to beat. Buy it!

Rated 5 de 5 de par Solid Shell - Excellent Construction I'm 6'2" 185lbs, and ordered a medium. The fit is excellent. It's roomy enough to add my mid-layer jacket but trim enough to still look nice. As mentioned in other reviews, the lack of a chest pocket isn't ideal, but rest of the jacket is 10/10. Specifally, I've never seen seam taping a jacket quite like this. It's flawless. As for the waterproofing, we've been camping through Colorado for the last month, and dealt with several extended rain storms. No leaks whatsoever. My only compliant about the jacket is that the zipper is hard to get started. I'm pretty sure that it's just some sort of burr in the zipper on my particular jacket, but the jacket is built well enough (and I like it) that I don't plan to go through the hassel of exchanging it. I opted for the light grey version (Nickel). I love the color, but it does show dirt a little easier than black. Overall, I give the jacket a 9/10. Almost perfect.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Good Hardshell For the past three years the Liquid point has been my go to piece when I expect precip, or think I am going to need reliable protection from the elements. compared to my 8oz Hardshell, and lighter water resistant shells. Even though it is on the heavier side for the features, I end up using it much more than my more expensive, ultralight, but not as robust other jackets when the weather is questionable. Pros: Helmet compatible, Good Outer material robustness, water resistant pitzips. Cons: Hand pockets are covered by harness and backpack strap (move them up?), Missing chest pocket. Looking forward to more cold, snowy, rainy, windy days in this one

Rated 4 de 5 de par Spare but good Does what it says. Nice, light, minimalist shell. I know there are tradeoffs with weight, but I do wish it had a small chest pocket for chapstick, a map, etc., and an inside pocket big enough to throw skins or a hat/gloves in. Handwarmer pockets are nicely sized. Otherwise, fits me perfectly and seems solid (I'm 5'11"/177 lbs., size large). As with most jackets, it's difficult to impossible to do the pit zips without assistance. I had a hard time zippering the main zipper, but it was super cold then and might have been my fingers. Haven't had an issue in more sane temperatures.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Solid! Love this jacket...I know the cost issues around building this product having done it myself for other brands.....but it needs a chest pocket ideally. And the lower hand pockets are a bit low and need some depth themselves so you don’t drop stuff out of them. Fantastic for the money. Cheers!

Rated 5 de 5 de par Great Jacket I bought this Jacket to be used as a do-all shell: rain, snow, etc. It's soft, quiet, tougher than entry-level shells but not so hard wearing as the Gore-tex pro. I am 185lbs, 5'11 atheletic build and the large is great. The medium would not fit and the large provides the perfect amount of room for me to have additional layers while allowing for longer sleeves/backside. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Perfect, exactly what I was looking for. Lightweight, packs up into small stuff sack, I'm 6' about 160 and the size large is great fit. Thought about medium after reading reviews but glad I went true to size. Skinned up to 12,000+ feet the other day with 40-50 mph winds, shell cut out the wind and the breathability was incredible. Then it started snowing hard and the 2 layer Gore Tex was all I needed. This shell with live in the truck for the Summer and be available to my clients during the monsoon season formy fishing guide season because people seem to not show up with any type of rain jacket. I think it will make a great rain jacket also.
