Great when not broken

"Overall a decent pair of hiking poles, however with mine the hiking pole locker broke off (or how one would like to call it). Sadly this happened just outside the warranty period of 2 years (by one month) and with the poles only having joined me on 20-ish day hikes I feel like the lifespan should have been longer."

Comfy but not strong

"Comfort and weight wide I have nothing to say on these poles, maybe the grip could be extended a little bit if I want to be peaky. The little screw driver included is a plus (it helped me repaired my friends pole). However, even if I was warned by the other posts, I did not want to believe that the construction was so weak, so I bought them anyway. But, now I can confirm that the locking pin is the weak point of these poles and it took only 4 ski touring to have them broken. This is really a shame. I sent them back to the seller for reimbursment. Now I have to find another model."

Information missing - product returned

"I bought the wrong size. The reason is that the explanation (size S M or L/ size of the person) is missing. Check this, it is missing on your Web site. Writen on the package received but missing on the Web site. Christmas present returned I am not happy. NR"

Pursuit FLZ

"Very good quality, but a bit expensive"

William W. (4/5)

A word of warning!

"As a couple of reviewers already have mentioned, the little button that keeps the pole in its extended position is of very poor quality! I have had it failing on me twice, with two different pairs of poles. The first time I got a new pair from the seller, thinking it was just a bad item, but no, the exact thing happened again with the replacement pair. Until this design flaw is fixed these poles are simply not safe to use! Its completely unacceptable, these are among the most expensive trekking poles on the market. It's really a shame, without this flaw they would be close to perfect."

Lightweight high quality

"Really like them. Feel sturdy, easy to fold and unfold, very light."

Femke D. (5/5)

Great poles

"Lightweight and it is possible to pachkage them in a very short size to fit into the backpack"

Stephanus L. (5/5)

Unacceptable - do not buy

"The push button that locks the poles into place broke and fell into the poles. This happened for both poles, after less than 100 km of use on very moderate (mainly flat) terrain. I am currently awaiting a reply to my warranty claim (only just submitted). Regardless of the warranty, this failure is completely unacceptable, especially for the price. BD should also stop selling these immediately because they are simply not safe for any serious use. Forget about 'premium poles' or 'steep ascents' - these poles can't be trusted."

My Joy turned into Disappointment

"I purchased a pair of these sticks at my local dealer in September 2023. initially, I loved the comfort of the handles and the strap, and the aluminum shaft had a comfortable resonance when descending, thus softening the pressure on body and arms. After around eight uses, and not more than two months later, the safety lock of one of the sticks got jammed. My dealer was unable to fix it, so he gave me an Alpine Carbon Cork instead, which failed on the second use. I now use sticks from a different brand, but I really miss the comfort of the pursuit FLZ."

Great, lightweight, sturdy and PRETTYYY

"These are my favorite hiking poles, I lost my Leki poles a while ago and finally replaced them and I love them! They can extend long enough to hold up my tent, are very lightweight and seem sturdy so far. I also love the color and the possibility to fold them down to fit in my backpack. The wrist straps and cork handle are also very comfortable."
