On June 17, 2023, BD Athlete Hillary Gerardi claimed the coveted female “fastest known time” of Mont Blanc. A project that was years in the making, Hillary’s historic FKT was documented by Davina and Seb Montaz-Rosset, which has culminated in this beautiful film, “Always Alive.”
Directed by Davina, with incredible cinematography taken right from the mountain by Seb, this documentary not only captures Hillary’s record breaking ascent and descent, but also dives deeper into the complexities surrounding the project: namely climate change.
