The Vapor helmet’s two-piece construction contains a layer of super-light ALUULA composite under the polycarbonate crown for added protection and reduced weight. Molded EPP foam makes up the sides, providing ample venting with a sleek aesthetic. An ultralight cord fit system makes adjustments and fit easy to fine-tune. Streamlined (and replaceable) headlamp clips are ready for alpine starts or after-dark raps.

"Looks and feels like eggshell, but I love it. Light, super ventilated, adjusts well and fits great. Very emotionally validating when friends ask concerned questions about its durability and then a reasonable sized rock drops on you (which the helmet deflected like a champ). Just no one step on it or throw it down hard please."

"I purchased my pink Vapor helmet in December 2022, have worn it a lot, have had lots of compliments on it; it is the most comfortable helmet I have ever had: it just seems to fit my head so well. Last weekend I was hit by a briefcase-sized rock and the helmet withstood the impact really well with only some denting on the outside and a small crack in the lining, but otherwise remained structurally intact. The rescue team told me it had saved my life, and I have to agree. I cannot thank BD enough for designing such a perfect product!"
