"I bought these gloves after they were recommended by staff at Buxton Mountain Rescue. Great for many uses and conditions. Too early to say how tough they are but they're very comfortable with just the right amount of stretch so the remain comfortable with a stretched open hand without feeling too large on a relaxed hand. They're warm enough for very cold days but not so warm as to be overkill on mildly cold days. The elasticated cuff is tight and secure but not uncomfortably so. Arguably my current favourite glove. Looking forward to seeing how robust they are with time and more vigorous use. 👍"
"These gloves are a perfect blend of comfort, softness, and style, with spot-on sizing. In Italy especially, their yellow workwear design recalls the utility gloves that became a fashion statement among "paninari" (urban fashion tribe) in the '80s - a trend I was part of. Despite my tendency to get cold hands, they kept me perfectly warm while skiing at -15°C/5°F. Though not specifically designed for skiing (my main use), they lack reinforcement between thumb and index finger - so careful handling of ski edges is advised for longevity. Black Diamond's service was outstanding!"
