"I get out quite a bit on ice. Enjoy leading in the grade 4 level. I have a combination of Petzl and BD screws. I prefer the Petzl screws. They are easier to place as they seem to grab ice better. I also prefer the large eyelet on the Petzl screw for clipping several biners at the same time. Having said that, BD screws do the job fairly well and are very durable. You won’t go wrong with them, but you may be happier with Petzl product if you have a choice."
