"In my opinion, this is a high-quality lamp. The way I use it involves switching it on and off very frequently, and that mechanism is robust and trouble-free. As for the headband, while you would ideally want it to never lose its elasticity, I suppose that is unrealistic. Operation is simple, without any unnecessary frills. The main drawback lies in the battery compartment lid's mounting design; the material isn't sturdy enough, causing the small plastic rim that holds the lid in place to crack easily. If that crack spreads, the electrical contact fails, and you end up needing a new battery housing. I reinforced mine myself using fiberglass matting. But overall, it is a good lamp—so good, in fact, that I bought a second one. It delivers a powerful beam that is also easily dimmed."
