BD.dry™ 3L face fabrics are treated with a DWR solution without intentionally added PFAS and these fabrics have a hydrophilic membrane that allows water vapor to transfer through, making them waterproof, yet breathable. Applied to the backside of this fabric is a third layer, jersey backer, that feels comfortable next to the skin and allows moisture to turn to vapor before passing through the hydrophilic membrane. "I really like this pant for ski touring. I’m 175 cm and wear size S. It fits on 2 buckles + strap touring boot (Tecnica Peak), but doesn’t fit on my 4 buckles Zero-g Tecnica. When it’s a bit chilly I generally wear an underwear. My go to choice if I tour more than 600/800 m vertical drop."
"I‘m using the pants for snow shoe tours. It works perfect but there is one thing not perfect: The ventilation slots have no net to avoid to much insights - and to protect snow coming into the pants. All other competitors have such a net. I do not understand, why Black Diamond has not…."
