The Black Diamond Highline Stretch Shell is the most versatile and technical 3-layer mountain shell in our collection.
The HighLine features our premier BD.dry waterproof/breathable protection with a backing fabric to help regulate core temperature as you move. With fast and light movement in mind, the Highline is built to move with you, and features an adjustable hood, shoulder seams with added range of motion, and a lowered neckline to facilitate movement with a pack on. Two chest pockets, two hand pockets, one interior stash pocket, and pit zips round out the feature set on this alpine shell built for the mountains.

BD.Dry 3L
Waterproof. Breathability. Durability. Stretch. BD.dry™ 3L face fabrics are treated with a DWR solution without intentionally added PFAS and these fabrics have a hydrophilic membrane that allows water vapor to transfer through, making them waterproof, yet breathable. Applied to the backside of this fabric is a third layer, jersey backer, that feels comfortable next to the skin and allows moisture to turn to vapor before passing through the hydrophilic membrane.
