"Amazing product by BD. I used to wear other brands, same approach shoe for 100 buck less. Actually the mission XL are much more durable, breathable, grippy and water repellent. Keeps debris out, great traction and even though I have pretty wide feet, I have plenty of room left for my toes to wiggle around and do their job. Lacing system is very efficient and you can adjust any area of the shoe quite accurately. I bought mine a size larger than my regular size and it fits perfectly. I really like for my toes to have space and extend, plus scrambling downhill feels way healthier that way. I would recommend the mission do leather if you’re looking for an all-around, all-terrain approach - or even hiking - shoe. I hiked and scrambled 15+ km on my first day of wearing them and I was shocked to feel “alright” afterwards. They feel light on your feet and it’s nice to climb with shoes that aren’t clunky and heavy when hanging from your harness. I’d pick these over scarpa and la sportiva all day long. I just love Black Diamond :hands_heart:"
