"Really do the job, i love the possibility tu adjust perfectly the back clip"

Quick and Easy

"These things are great. I bought to use with my Scarpa Zodiac Tech GTX. The front bail is easy to step into. The 12-points of contact make for quick travel. The heel-bail is easy to adjust and snaps onto your boot. I do have a little bit of rust forming on the bottoms of the crampons. Not sure if its the crampons or something I picked up on the mountain. I also found the thin strap hard to pull with gloves on. More surface area towards the end of the strap would be nice."

Super Stable - great crampons!

"I bought these crampons for an upcoming expedition to Denali. I recently took them on a winter training session to climb Mt. Washington. It was a perfect test as Mt. Washington was in usual winter form (white out/high winds/blowing graupel) I used the serac crampons/strap version with my La Sportiva G2 boots. The combination was terrific. The combination was very stable and had plenty of traction on ice and snow. These worked well even on higher angle sections that required french stepping and/or front pointing."

This might be overkill for my needs

"Got the strap version. Purchased this model due to the additional holes on the side of the fwd crampon. I figured if I need better control of the crampon, I could use the trailing hole on the side of the crampon to tie over the boot. This boot overhangs 3 inches per side. Of course I also purchased the large center bar. This is not for technical activity. I have a trip in January to Svalbard. Average temperature then is -40 C which is also -40 F. Polar bears to people are 2 to 1. From what I researched, boot mfg and ice traction mfg dont talk to one another. Each one is in their own little world and the other one doesnt exist. I would have gone for the Contact model except it doesnt have the additional side holes. The mandatory questions in this review are irrelevant to my quest"

I love this product

"I bought this product a week before hiking Mt Whitney, Lone Pine, CA. I was able to get through the chute early morning with confidence. Serac Crampons did not add much weight, kept my feet securely planted in the snow/ice, and allowed me to confidently hike up the chute. I had no problems using this product and would recommend it for anyone who is planning to hike in similar conditions."
