"Seems to be a quality torch, love the option for colour filters to preserve night vision. The positioning of the fuel indicator is not ideal though - easily remedied with tape, but something to consider when iterating the design."
"Great headlamp but the battery indicator is pretty stupid. The three indicator lights are now placed at the bottom and are bright enough to be annoying and take away some night vision if you are using some of the lower settings. I preferred them on the side like on the 400 model. But a bit of tape solved the problem."
"The Storm 450 headlamp comes without any external battery besides 3x AAA. It‘s designed for winter activities and has a nice option to open and switch the battery. The function of the three different night colors is kinda useful especially when being in a forest at night time"

"Due lampe leuchtet echt super nur mir der Batterie und Ladegerät Option bin ich sehr unzufrieden. Man muss sich die Batterie selbst nochmal für 15€ kaufen was ja kein Problem wäre aber auch noch ein Ladegerät extra nur für die Batterie für nochmal 15 € ist dann schon sehr viel. Noch dazu hat man dann ein extra ladegerät rumliegen dass man nur für diesen einen Zweck nutzen kann. Als wiederaufladbare Lampe kostet sie also 80€ und für den Preis gibt es deutlich bessere Lampen auf dem Markt. Recharge-Funktion echt schlecht gemacht!!!"
"As the title says the head torch seems ok but the description is very misleading as the lithium battery is not included. The torch has a lot of lighting options and is relatively easy to operate."
"This is actually for the Storm 400 (but couldn't find it on the website as it's last years). However if the Storm 400 is anything to go by, I'd imagine this newer version is a top quality product. I live in Ireland and in the darker winter months I use this for practically everything from runs to the shop to multi-day hiking and camping trips. It also rains a lot here and found this product ideal for the conditions. I've been out in continuous, persistent rain, and have never had an issue. I just wanted to put it out there that it's a great product. Also in dealing with Black Diamond with regards to an older product. I found that their customer service was absolutely brilliant, and it justified me buying their sometimes a little expensive products. In all great company. Thanks :)"
