The integrated grip and asymmetrical angled shaft provide security and easy handling when swinging it like an ice tool, and a sliding FlickLock pommel offers an adjustable second grip for choking up on steep snow. "LOVE this for a hybrid solution! swapped picks for the more aggressive Ice style, and climbs well. Abused these axes and they never let me down! Triggers are quick to move from Axe to Tool mode. . . BUT (BD IF YOU ARE LISTENING. . . ) Please, Please, offer larger Triggers! Even with my fancy BD ice climbing gloves, my knuckles are seriously bruised after returning from an 8 day trip."
