Featuring 4-way stretch fabric, this pant moves with you on big tours in the mountains, while the Recon’s BD.dry™ waterproof/breathable solution keeps you dry on deep turns in harsh winter conditions. The Recon features an updated, low-profile electronics pocket over the right thigh. An integrated RECCO reflector adds to the pants’ snow safety capabilities, while the instep patches guard against ski edges and crampon points. The Recon’s offset side vents allow you to dump heat on the skin track, and the high mounted snow gaiter keeps out the snow.

"The fabric is both stretchy and durable, with great range of motion. I love the pockets, including the well-thought-out beacon pocket; if I had one suggestion, Id say to move them down about an inch or so to allow more room for access while wearing a harness. I am 54" and find them a little long, but with boots on, its not a problem."
"A male friend of mine tours in these. They look SO rad. I’m 5’3”, 118 lbs, ordered them in size Small. Yikes they big. Going to try to exchange them for XS and see how it goes, but I’m worried they won’t be small enough. Maybe BD could add an XXS option for next season ??"
