Designed for high-output activity in the mountains

The Solution 150 Merino Baselayer Crew builds the foundation for your skin-to-environment layering system. Featuring innovative patented NuYarn stretch merino wool—a fabric that’s stronger, warmer, and dries faster than other merino wool fabrics by utilizing the technology of wrapping a nylon core with extra-fine merino fiber—the Solution 150 Baselayer Crew offers superior thermoregulation and moisture management and is naturally bacteria and odor resistant. The baselayer’s flatlock stitching provides seams that don’t chafe, while the crew’s shoulder panel is designed to eliminate pressure points while carrying a pack. Also, integrated thumb-holes make pulling on additional layers easy without bunch up your sleeves.

Features

  • Flatlock stitching eliminates chafing

Soft and Warm

"Ordered this crew and the matching leggings for a base layer this winter. Took both the crew and the leggings backpacking this weekend and they kept me warm in the chilly mountain evenings and mornings and were breathable while hiking in the evening. Will definitely purchase more!"

Does the trick

"This seems to be pretty warm and do the trick as a base layer, however I would love for this shirt to be longer. A girl still wants to look cute in the backcountry and this cut could be more flattering."

My go to baselayer top

"I ordered this item a few weeks ago for an upcoming trip the Himalayas and wanted to test before I left. I live in PA and this item arrived just in time for a solid cold snap (17 degree mornings/28 during the day). Ive used it outdoors multiple times all day (search and rescue training) and will be using it for an upcoming cold winter campout weekend. The fabric is comfortable, moves with you, soft, and the advertised sizing is accurate. I particularly like the thumbholes to prevent drafts up my arms - yes, while hiking around I was able to just hike in this top at times and was perfectly comfortable, even in very cold temps. (I do run warm. ) I also used multiple days in a row and the stink was to a minimum - the wool did its job at ensuring the person next to me smelled worse! Another nice note - when inside wearing this shirt, it regulated well - I didnt feel overheated. I teach search and rescue skills and was addressing winter safety last night to a class. I specifically brought this top (and the leggings) to show as an example of a quality base layer system. I would (and will) absolutely purchase this item again."
