"I bought this pack new this year as my principal day pack for summer Alpine excursions. Pros: Comfort - the wide straps and hip pad makes for a snug, stable and secure fit which in turn makes traversing and climbing easier as it moves with your body (not breathable for the same reason however). Size - the 28L volume feels notably less bulky than 30 & 35L day packs but packed all the same kit with ease. Webbing and straps - I like the minimalist design which avoids unnecessary straps and cordage for adjusting the pack volume. Integrated features - rain cover, hip pad pockets, internal and top flap pockets are all welcome. Closure - draw chords and buckles are more robust than zips or more easily repaired, hoping this will last a long time. Cons: Water bottle pouch - slightly too small for a standard full 500ml flexibottle. I use Salomon bottles and they would protrude a couple inches. Axe loop - I know why it only has one loop for an axe but I'd prefer two for more technical Alpine ascents. Colours - a lack of choice between grey w/ beige or grey-blue w/ cyan."
