"on one of the poles, the lock button works it's way loose every 10 minutes of use and the pole collapses. A subtle change to the profile of the button or the locking ring might solve this but it looks like a fundamental product defect."
"I am super happy with these poles. Despite the light construction, they are still stable. I use them mainly for hiking and mountaineering. Full recommendation!"
"Great poles. Very lightweight but strong and easy to fold away. Will fit neatly in the pocket of my backpack until I need them"
"Amazing poles"
"Ligeros y muy practicos. Los he usado en travesias de varios dias y en salidas cortas y largas de dia. Los recomiendo"
"Sehr stabil und angenehm leicht"
"Light and compact."
"Another victim of these poles over here! These poles use a metal tab mechanism designed to lock them in the extended position. However, the tab gets stuck and does not lock properly. As a result, the poles can unexpectedly fold while I am using them. This is a serious concern, as it poses a significant safety risk when moving on mountainous terrain. Do not buy."
"One of the best poles I've ever used. The hand straps are very comfortable, even on ultra distances. Good grip. You need to clean them regularly, as was mentioned in a critical comment below. But I’ve experienced the same with other brands as well."
"I bought a pair of these poles to replace a set I bought 4 years ago (on which the locking mechanism snapped). However, after a couple of months of use, I the poles had seized inside the folding mechanism (they are completely jammed and there's no hope of pulling them apart). Waiting to hear whether BD will honour the warranty, which they wouldn't for the previous pair of poles."
