Top quality, as always

"Top quality, as always"

Solid crampon

"I switched from the camp strap on crampons to these. My first outing so far I utilized these to face in downclimb a pretty steep and icy section on a cascade volcano. They worked great and felt super solid"

Got these for Glacier

"They are study and pretty durable! For me I only really used them for glacier travel. (Maybe a little over the top) but they become one with the boot."

Alpine Workhorse - Does everything

"This is my second pair of Sabretooth crampons - I really love the versatility of this model. It can handle all conditions with ease - hardpack, rime, vertical ice, mixed. . . . I can rely on these guys to get the job done."

Great crampons

"Super lightweight tech crampons wonderful for any terrains"

Excellent!

"Bought these for a trip of Mt. Baker and some other climbs in the Cascades. Very easy to adjust and put on. Worked great crossing glaciers and some limited vertical ice. Overall a great crampon."

Very good, but concerned about previous version

"Overall great point placement and quality for most conditions. I have the previous version with a tongue on the toe bail. This seems to slide across the bail and twists and bends quite a bit. I assume the tiny dot on the tongue is a spot weld, but I hope is has not been compromised on my last trip to Rainier where the tongue twisted right on that weld. Maybe I dont know how to properly place the strap and thread it through the tongue correctly to keep it in place. Any guidance from BD?"

Nice eq

"Works nice, used on non technical roads, max slope 45 degrees. Do not but it for lasportiva cube. Does not fit well. I lost it 2 times, but only on the flat part of road ☺️. (No problems on hicking) Friend of mine used it with Scarpa, and fits better."

Great crampons, but need buying options

"These are great crampons and easy to get on/off. I have the Pros, and they are rock solid once on. My issue isn’t with the crampons, it’s with the buying options. . . . . . or lack there of. It would be nice to be able to choose what toe bails and flex bars you need when buying. I wear a size 47 in my La Sportiva Baruntse (double boot), so I had to purchase the Long Flex Bars and Wide Toe Bails to be able to use these with my boots. Didn’t realize I needed the wide bails until I received them, and then had to pay additional shipping for the new bails. Now I have short flex bars and 2 sets of toe bails (narrow and regular), that I have no use for. Could have saved $30 plus cost of shipping, if I was able to choose the parts I needed when buying the crampons initially."

Great all-around crampons. Dislike toe bails

"These crampons are fantastic. They cut through the ice well for ice climbing and travel well across glaciers while walking. The are perfect all-around crampons. Only issue: Replacing the toe bails (narrow to wide or vice versa) is horrifically difficult, and scary to do. Try to avoid replacing them as much as possible. My understanding is BD did fix this issue, but a heads up if not. Otherwise, highly recommend them."
